MainStay Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

I've had the pleasure of staying here twice both times being an amazing experience! All thanks to kelee, the first time staying here she was so welcoming and a ray of sunshine after traveling 18 hours. Because of her when coming back to visit Columbus I knew where to stay and once again kelee made it a wonderful experience. She not only helped me make a reservation but helped me get the best rates. Shes genuinely the best! I will be coming back and 100% will be staying here again.

Kiara from the laundry team was extremely helpful during my stay. She was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, my hotel stay was very good and comfortable. Thank you for the great service

During my time at this hotel my experience was amazing the staff was very helpful and super sweet, however the front desk staff was exceptional especially the young lady Briana she went above and beyond to be as help and sweet as she could be. she definitely made this trip amazing and i would recommend anyone to this hotel simply because of the staff and the beds were super comfortable and clean i am recommend this hotel to all my family and friends

We had a nice vacation with the family. The lady at front desk Yairyliz was an incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time.

Most everything was absolutely fantastic. I still give it 5 stars even after my only 2 gripes. 1st one is the wifi is straight trash and the water is hot but not like hot. Outside of those 2 things I can't complain. The service desk representative,Kelly, was for welcoming and professional. I've stayed in a few hotels over the years and it never felt like my home away from home,but Kelly made us feel like it was. Rooms were exceptionally clean,the breakfast was really good. The air work fantastic. Not once during our 2 day stay were we made to feel like an inconvenience. Thank you

I stayed here for 5 nights for my husband’s basic graduation back in October of 2025 and it was a very nice comfy hotel. Staff were nice and the room overall was great. Such a great hotel. Would definitely come back here again!

I had a nice stay with some friends. Front desk agent Yairyliz made sure that we had a great stay she also made sure to explain breakfast times and answer any questions we had.

Stayed here this last week for our Son's Basic Training Graduation at Ft. Benning. Went through a ton of the reviews, and they are pretty mixed. The price was pretty good for being able to be so close to Benning, only about 2 miles from the front gates. The room was fairly clean, a few little things here and there, but for that price, I'll deal. As former military I can stand a lot as long as the place is close and the food's good, and it was. We did get a room with a kitchenette, and checked with the front desk before our stay, and were told there was cooking stuff and dinnerware/utensils in the room....there was one spoon, a butter knife, and 2 plates, and a pan. We ended up getting all that at Walmart across the street. We couldn't cook for the first 2 nights, because nobody bothered to mention that there was a timer on the wall you had to turn to make the stovetop work, we had to find that out from another guest. Not that great of a neighborhood, but still quiet. Our best part of the whole stay was Miss JJ, the breakfast server/preparer. There's a lot of reviews talking bad about her, but know what. Mind your manners, show up dressed, like you should be, and keep the area clean, and DON'T PICK UP THE FOOD WITH YOUR HANDS! Miss JJ was still the best part of the whole stay here. Meet her, take care of her, and she'll take care of you, guaranteed.
